EMS LightSaver

The EMS Lightsavers come in two varieties: Indoor and Outdoor. Both offer very low-cost means to reduce lighting costs in lighting-intensive environments such as parking garages or night-accessible public recreation areas.

Outdoor Lightsaver:

The Outdoor Lightsaver uses the OLES alongside a smart-grid server set to adjust lighting based on an astronomical position calculator and a photovoltaic sensor array. It allows the lighting system to adjust itself based on the position of the sun and the ambient lighting conditions.

Because the Outdoor Lightsaver can instantaneously calculate the position of the sun and moon, it predicts the coming of night by activating lights at a fraction of their full brilliance. Because it can directly detect the ambient lighting conditions using it's photovoltaic sensors, it can respond to dark, cloudy evenings or unexpectedly bright moonlight by altering the brightness of the attached lights accordingly. These combined with voltage regulation that is specific to the kind of lamps you are using save every possible kilowatt-hour your lighting systems would otherwise have wasted.

Indoor Lightsaver:

The Indoor Lightsaver uses the OLES in tandem with a smart-grid server set to adjust lighting conditions in response to preprogrammed events, allowing you to set your lights to respond to activity or adjust themselves on a schedule.

The Indoor Lightsaver offers the same voltage-perfecting ability as the Outdoor, but allows you to set events as simple as time-of-day and as complex as motion detectors or keycard activations, and tell the Lightsaver exactly how to respond. In this way, you can respond to the unique patterns of workflow in your environment by dimming, deactivating, and renewing light sources as the workflow demands.
